Wind farms in Żnin secure €85 million in financing

Wind farms in the Żnin region of Poland have secured €85 million in long-term financing to ensure their continued operation. The funding covers the Żnin-Damasławek, Żnin 2, and Żnin 3 installations, which consist of 27 turbines.

Owned by Eurowind Energy and Windbud, these facilities were commissioned between 2023 and 2024. They produce approximately 185 GWh of renewable energy annually, an amount sufficient to meet the yearly electricity needs of roughly 60,000 Polish households. The investment aims to stabilize the existing infrastructure rather than fund new construction, supporting Poland's broader energy transition toward cleaner sources.
