Windfall Farms, former Alex Trebek estate, sells for $16.9 million

Windfall Farms, a 724-acre estate in Paso Robles, California, formerly owned by “Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek, has sold for $16.9 million at auction. The sale price represents a significant reduction from the $33 million asking price the property held last year.

The auction was conducted by Concierge Auctions in partnership with Sotheby’s International Realty during Monterey Car Week. The estate features a 10,000-square-foot main residence with eight bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, and various office and media spaces.

In addition to its residential facilities, the property serves as a functional agricultural and equestrian site. It includes 387 acres of planted wine grapes that operate as a cash-flow business through winery contracts, as well as a 6.5-furlong racetrack, large paddocks, and a polo field. The estate also contains an industrial-grade machine shop and seven wells.
