Windows 11 users find new way to bypass Microsoft account requirement

A new method has been identified that allows users to bypass the mandatory Microsoft account requirement during Windows 11 installation to set up a local account instead.

According to reports, the process involves navigating to the Microsoft account sign-in screen during setup and selecting the ‘Learn more’ option. This action reportedly triggers a window that allows the user to create a local username and password.

While the method has been verified to work with Windows 11 Home installations, its effectiveness on Windows 11 Pro has not been confirmed. It is suspected that this may be due to a software bug, and there is a possibility that Microsoft will eventually patch this loophole, similar to previous workarounds.
