Windpark Zeewolde rebrands to Energiehub Zeewolde

Windpark Zeewolde has rebranded to Energiehub Zeewolde to reflect its expanding role in regional energy supply. While the organization began with 83 large wind turbines, it has grown to include a battery park, charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, and plans to supply electricity directly to local businesses.

General Director Maarten de Keizer stated that the name change was necessary because the organization has outgrown its original scope. Beyond brand recognition, the new name provides legal clarity, as the wind park, battery park, energy park, and substation operate as separate legal entities. The name Energiehub Zeewolde will serve as a collective trade name for these various activities.
