Windset Farms has begun planting at its new 38-acre ultra-lit greenhouse located in Delta, British Columbia. This expansion brings the company’s total operation in Delta to 130 acres, including 86 acres of ultra-lit production, establishing it as the largest lit vegetable greenhouse facility in Western North America.
The facility utilizes advanced growing technology designed for year-round production, aiming to optimize crop performance and operational efficiency while reducing environmental impact. The company expects to begin harvesting the first crops in the coming weeks.
With this addition, Windset Farms now operates 298 acres of greenhouse production across Canada and the United States. Through partnerships in Canada, the United States, and Mexico, the company supplies tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and specialty vegetables to its customers.
