Windsor International Film Festival announces 2026 lineup

The Windsor International Film Festival (WIFF) has announced its lineup for the 2026 event, which is scheduled to run from October 29 through November 8 in Windsor, Ontario.

The festival will feature a variety of international and Canadian productions. The opening night film is the crime drama ‘Paper Tiger’, directed by James Gray and starring Adam Driver and Miles Teller. Other notable additions to the lineup include ‘A Talent for Murder’, a crime drama starring Helen Mirren, and ‘Fjord’, a Palme d’Or winner directed by Christian Mungiu.

Due to high demand, the festival has added extra screenings for the documentary ‘Police Detective Parker’, which covers the history of the first Black police detective in Windsor, as well as additional screenings for ‘Fjord’.
