Windsor scheduled Fall Clean-Up Days for October 9-10

Windsor has scheduled its 2026 Fall Clean-Up Days for Friday, Oct. 9, and Saturday, Oct. 10. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Windsor Public Services Facility located at 922 N. 15th St.

Residents can drop off various materials, including general household trash, yard and garden waste, scrap metal, and up to four vehicle tires without rims. The town will also accept specific appliances such as stoves, ovens, washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwaves, and grills, as well as bicycles.

Accepted yard waste includes branches and tree limbs up to four inches in diameter and grass clippings. Residents are responsible for unloading their own items at designated stations. Entry vouchers are provided in the fall issue of Windsor Matters, though replacements can be obtained at various town facilities with a valid ID or utility bill.
