WindTre adds insurance section to its mobile app in Italy

Italian telecom operator WindTre released a new version of its mobile app (version 10.5.0) on iOS on 28 July 2026 and on Android on 27 July 2026. The update introduces an "Assicurazioni" (Insurance) section within the existing "Account" area, allowing customers of mobile, fixed‑line, or Luce & Gas services to view active insurance contracts and manage their policies. The app already hosts "Connessioni" (Connections) and "Energia" (Energy) sections, and a recently added "Protezione" (Protection) area for security services.

The addition aims to streamline access to insurance products for WindTre users, complementing previous functionality that let them handle telecom and energy services from a single interface.
