Windup announces Hela: of Mice & Magic adventure game

Windup, the Swedish studio behind the Unravel series, has revealed details for its upcoming title, ‘Hela: of Mice & Magic’. The game is a cooperative adventure set in a fantasy world where players control small mice tasked with assisting a kind witch who has fallen ill.

Players can explore an open world consisting of forests, meadows, and wetlands, either solo or with up to four players. The game supports online multiplayer and local split-screen play. A magical backpack provided by the witch will allow players to interact with the environment and reach inaccessible areas.

‘Hela: of Mice & Magic’ is scheduled for release on December 1, 2026. It will be available on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. A physical ‘Harmony Edition’ collector’s version will also be released.
