Windwaker releases official music video for single ‘dna’

Melbourne-based metalcore band Windwaker has released the official music video for their single ‘dna’. The release follows a recent debut appearance on triple j’s ‘Like A Version’, where the group performed a heavy reworking of The Kid LAROI’s ‘GIRLS’ alongside the new track.

Lyrically, ‘dna’ explores themes of identity, self-worth, and the struggle with internal nature and emotional instability. Musically, the track blends synths, hip-hop-influenced verses, and heavy riffs. The single serves as a precursor to the band’s upcoming third album, ‘smile, you’re on camera’, which is scheduled for release on October 23rd through Civilians/Fearless Records.
