Wine and gastronomy events expand in Brazil

Wine and gastronomy events are gaining traction in Brazil, highlighted by new recurring experiences and large-scale festivals. In Garibaldi, Rio Grande do Sul, Chandon has introduced a monthly ‘Feijoada da Chandon’ event. The experience pairs the traditional Brazilian dish with various sparkling wines, featuring a menu designed by chefs Carol Cândido and Henrique Ferla.

In São Paulo, the inaugural VEJA Comer & Beber Wine Fest attracted approximately 2,500 attendees to the Shopping JK Iguatemi. The festival featured over 150 labels across 21 stalls, focusing on low-intervention and small-production wines. The event showcased diverse styles, including European imports, biodynamic champagnes, and orange wines.
