Wine festivals and harvest activities held in Nelas and Cartaxo

Various wine-related festivals and harvest activities are taking place across Portugal. In Nelas, the 35th Dão Wine Fair is scheduled from September 3 to 6. The event features programming for professionals on the first day, followed by family-oriented activities from Friday to Sunday, including magic shows, cycling training for children, music workshops, and traditional grape treading.

In the Tejo wine region, Adega do Cartaxo has launched its harvest season programs for September 2026. The winery is offering tiered enotourism experiences, including regional packs for cellar visits and tastings, reserve packs that include manual grape harvesting and regional lunches, and a boat tour on the Tejo River featuring wine tastings.
