Wine festivals in Bombarral and Nelas showcase Portuguese producers

The "Do Vinho à Pera" festival in Bombarral, part of the 41st Portuguese Wine Festival and the 31st National Pear Fair, will run for six days with 31 wine producers, four pear growers and about 150 wines on offer. Visitors can enjoy concerts, showcookings, workshops and family activities across multiple stages, with a wine competition culminating on 7 August.

The 35th Dão Wine Fair in Nelas is scheduled for 3‑6 September. The free‑entry event will feature regional wine producers, tastings, wine contests, showcookings, a theatre show, and a concert by Rui Veloso on 5 September, followed by DJ after‑parties.

Both festivals aim to promote the identity and products of their respective Portuguese wine regions.
