Wine festivals scheduled in Bordeaux and Ambly

Several wine-related events are scheduled for the second weekend of October. In Bordeaux, the Foire aux Seconds Vins will take place at Hangar 14, featuring tastings of second wines from Pessac-Léognan and Sauternes. Featured selections include Château Carbonnieux, Château Couhins, L'Abeille de Fieuzal, Château Coquillas, and La Chapelle Haut Nouchet.

In Ambly, the 20th edition of the Promenade des Cépages will be held on October 10 and 11. Organized by the Comité des Fêtes d'Ambly, the event features 32 winemakers from France, Belgium, and Portugal. The festival includes wine tastings in temporary cellars, local food offerings from various producers, and a pedestrian-only village area. The weekend also includes musical animations and a dance party organized by the youth committee.
