Wine Free invests R$ 7 million in Brazilian wine dealcoholization technology

Wine Free, a new specialized business in the Brazilian wine industry, has launched in Flores da Cunha with an investment of R$ 7 million. The company focuses on the dealcoholization of wines and sparkling wines, providing a service for wineries to meet the growing demand for non-alcoholic beverages without requiring producers to maintain their own specialized infrastructure.

The technology used aims to remove alcohol while preserving the sensory characteristics of the drink, such as aromas, structure, and tannins. The facility has a capacity to dealcoholize up to 5,000 liters of wine per day.

Demand for the service is already high, with at least 20 wineries on a waiting list. Confirmed clients include Salton and Vinícola Angelo Luvison, while other companies such as Miolo, Valduga, and São João are currently in the prospecting phase. The business is a partnership between the Italian company Opportunity and several Brazilian partners.
