Wine Lips to release fifth studio album ‘TV Dinner’

Toronto-based psych-punk band Wine Lips will release their fifth studio album, ‘TV Dinner’, on August 28, 2026, via Stomp Records. The 13-track record blends garage punk, psychedelic rock, and fuzz-heavy alternative music.

Moving away from pure escapism, the album focuses on the pressures of contemporary life in 2026. Lyrical themes include rising living costs, social media algorithms, consumer culture, and wellness trends. Specific tracks such as ‘Cut It’ address various forms of addiction, while ‘Semi Detached Furnished Home’ explores housing affordability and high rents.

Over the past decade, the group has established itself as a significant Canadian rock export, accumulating over 50 million Spotify streams and receiving recognition from Iggy Pop. The band is preparing for upcoming tour dates across North America, Europe, and the UK.
