Wine producers launch harvest experiences and tasting events
Wine producers and associations are hosting seasonal events focused on harvest experiences and large-scale tastings.
In Portugal, Esporão is offering immersive harvest programs across its properties in Alentejo, Douro, and Vinho Verde. These experiences allow visitors to participate in the harvest, visit cellars, and engage in wine tastings paired with local gastronomy. Programs at Herdade do Esporão include cellar tours and food pairings, while Quinta dos Murças in the Douro region offers traditional grape treading in granite tanks.
In Brazil, the Associação Brasileira de Enologia (ABE) has opened ticket sales for the 34th National Wine Evaluation in Bento Gonçalves, Serra Gaúcha. Scheduled for October 17, the event features the simultaneous tasting of 16 wine samples representing the 2026 harvest. The event is designed to bring together professionals and enthusiasts to celebrate the Brazilian wine industry.
