Wine Vision Open Balkan fair concludes in Belgrade
The fifth international Wine Vision Open Balkan fair, focusing on wine, food, and spirits, has concluded at the Belgrade Fair. The three-day event featured over 550 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and facilitated more than 2,000 B2B business meetings involving buyers and sellers from 45 nations.
Montenegrin producers participated collectively through an initiative organized by the Economic Chamber of Montenegro. This group included both large companies, such as 13. Jul - Plantaže, and smaller producers, aiming to promote Montenegro as a high-quality wine destination and strengthen regional business contacts.
The competition saw 800 wine samples submitted for judging. Notable winners included Zvonko Bogdan for best international white wine, Aleksic for best international red wine, and Jovic for best indigenous red wine. In the spirits category, Kamnik won for Lozovača, Zarić for herbal brandy, Hubert for Quince brandy, and Emperus for Plum brandy.
