Winger announces expanded Fall 2026 U.S. tour
The rock band Winger has announced an expanded U.S. tour for Fall 2026, reversing previous discussions regarding retirement. While frontman Kip Winger had previously expressed interest in pursuing a solo career in classical music, the group has decided to continue performing.
Drummer Rod Morgenstein noted that the band had been discussing its potential end for several years, citing the physical toll of touring and the age of the members. Winger rose to prominence in the late 1980s and early 1990s, with their self-titled debut and 'In the Heart of the Young' both reaching platinum status.
