Wingstop launches limited‑time Sweet Heat Chamoy wings nationwide

Wingstop introduced a limited‑time "Sweet Heat Chamoy" flavor that combined a custom chamoy dry rub with Tajín Chamón sauce. The product launched on June 30, 2026 at more than 3,000 U.S. locations and was offered on classic and boneless wings, tenders, chicken sandwiches, fries and corn, alongside a Chamoy Ranch dressing and a Fanta Summer Punch in Coca‑Cola Freestyle machines.

The chain described the taste as "fruity and sweet at first, followed by lime and tanginess and a slow‑building chile kick." Chief Brand Officer Donnie Upshaw said the launch tapped the popular "swangy" flavor trend, which layers sweetness, spiciness and tanginess. Tajín, a Mexican brand founded in 1985, has become a staple in U.S. food culture. The Sweet Heat Chamoy offering has since ended, with no announced return.

The launch reflects the broader adoption of chamoy and Tajín across American fast‑food menus, marking a notable moment for the swangy trend in the industry.
