Winnipeg Blue Bombers defeat Ottawa Redblacks in overtime

Quarterback Dru Brown, recently traded from Ottawa, led the Winnipeg Blue Bombers to a 36‑34 overtime victory over the winless Ottawa Redblacks. Brown's 317‑yard, two‑touchdown performance included a game‑tying drive late in the fourth quarter and a two‑point conversion by Gavin Cobb that secured the win under the CFL's new overtime format.

The win moved Winnipeg to a 4‑2 record while Ottawa fell to 0‑6. Redblacks quarterback Jake Maier threw for 344 yards, one touchdown and one interception, but missed the final two‑point attempt that could have tied the game.
