The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have ruled quarterback Zach Collaros out for their upcoming Week 17 matchup against the Toronto Argonauts due to a head injury. Collaros sustained the injury during the Banjo Bowl against the Saskatchewan Roughriders after attempting a tackle on the sideline.

Collaros will miss his fifth game of the season. In his absence, Dru Brown is expected to take over as the starting quarterback. Brown, who was re-acquired from the Ottawa Redblacks in June, has previously gone 2-2 in four starts this season.

Head coach Mike O’Shea expressed support for the team stepping up in Collaros' absence, noting that the roster has confidence in Brown to lead the team.
