The Exchange Movie Exchange operates similarly to a free library and hosts Monday night movie screenings in the city’s Exchange District. The owners attribute the renewed interest largely to Gen Z consumers seeking an alternative to digital streaming services and the cloud. They note that the simplicity of the format and the satisfaction of owning physical media are key drivers for the community interest.
