Świnoujście and La Corniche lead 2026 European beach rankings

Polish travel portal Travelist placed Świnoujście at the top of its 2026 ranking of Poland’s best beaches, noting the town’s wide sandy shore, family‑friendly facilities and appeal to active visitors. Other Polish winners include Ustka, Dźwirzyno and Kołobrzeg.

The British newspaper The Guardian ranked France’s La Corniche near Pyla‑sur‑Mer in second place among the world’s 50 most beautiful seaside spots, ahead of iconic destinations such as Bora Bora. The site was praised for its dramatic dunes, especially the nearby Dune of Pilat, and its mix of natural scenery and local gastronomy.
