Świnoujście expands designated electric scooter parking zones

The city of Świnoujście is expanding its designated parking zones for electric scooters to improve public safety and urban aesthetics. New markings have recently been installed in the seaside district, contributing to a planned network of 25 total parking locations across various parts of the city.

The initiative aims to prevent scooters from being abandoned on sidewalks, building entrances, or other random locations, which can obstruct pedestrians and tourists, particularly during the busy summer season. To ensure compliance, the Municipal Guard is conducting inspections. Scooters parked incorrectly are being secured and removed from public spaces to be collected by their operators.
