Świnoujście extends resident card exchange deadline

Residents of Świnoujście have been granted an extension to exchange their old resident cards (Karta Wyspiarza and Karta Wyspiarza Seniora). Due to high demand for the new system, the deadline has been extended by four months to December 31, 2026.

The updated system primarily utilizes an electronic card available via a free mobile application. For those without smartphones, a plastic card featuring a QR code is available, which is free for residents over the age of 60.

Benefits of the card include three hours of free daily parking, free parking on weekends, public transport tickets for 1 PLN, and various discounts from local businesses. The mobile application also provides access to city event information and tools for public consultations.
