Świnoujście library launches youth history project

The Stefan Flukowski Municipal Public Library in Świnoujście has launched a new educational and creative project titled ‘Youth about Świnoujście’. The initiative invites school youth to explore the city's history through non-traditional methods, including workshops on historical learning, identifying fake news, and graphic design.

The project includes historical walks and specialized workshops on stop-motion animation and mobile city game design. The ultimate goal of the program is the creation of a mobile city game dedicated to the history of Świnoujście, which is scheduled for premiere in December 2026. The project is funded by the state budget through the Ministry of Education under the ‘Compass of the Young Citizen’ program.
