Świnoujście monument removal on Kosa Peninsula

The monument “To those who restored Pomerania to the Motherland,” a six-meter anchor-shaped structure on the Kosa Peninsula, is being removed from a closed military area in Świnoujście.

Local residents observed heavy machinery and debris at the site, which has served as a landmark for the Polish Navy for decades. While the exact reasons for the demolition are not yet confirmed, information suggests the site may be prepared for a new commemoration.
