Świnoujście–Wolgast International Marathon held on Usedom Island

The 46th Świnoujście–Wolgast International Marathon and the 10th Świnoujście–Wolgast Relay took place on Saturday, September 5. The event featured a challenging international route crossing the Polish and German sections of Usedom Island.

Officers from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Świnoujście managed security for the Polish portion of the course. Their responsibilities included securing the route for runners, managing traffic flow at intersections, and ensuring the safety of pedestrians and spectators while minimizing disruptions for local residents and drivers.
