Winstanley College celebrates student achievements at annual awards

Winstanley College held its annual Awards Evening on May 3, 2024, to celebrate the achievements of its students. The ceremony included musical performances by students and speeches from college governor Dr Nayyar Naqvi and local MP Yvonne Fovargue.

Various honors were presented, including the Charities and Community Champion Award, The Mulroy Award for debating, and The Governors’ Award for Academic Achievement, which was awarded to Jacob Guiness. Other notable recognitions included the Principal’s Award for Contribution to the College and Community, awarded to Mayukhi Mittal and Ruby Coleman, as well as The Pride of Winstanley Awards.
