Winter clothing drives support vulnerable families in Argentina and Chile
The Roperito Solidario “Abrigando Almas” organization continued its winter aid program in Argentina, delivering more than 700 coats, garments and shoes to families in Señora Pujio on 15 June and a further 300 items plus fresh vegetables to residents of the Banfield neighbourhood on 23 June. The effort is supported by donations and the Banco de Alimentos foundation.
In San Felipe, Chile, the municipal shelter opened a clothing‑collection campaign to provide warm jackets and footwear for its roughly 20 nightly residents. Shelter director Sonia Mancilla emphasized that donations should be clean, ironed and sorted by gender, and can be dropped off at Salinas 337 between 08:00 and 20:00.
