Winter season updates for BergFestival and Saas-Fee

The BergFestival in Saalbach is expanding its 2026 program by reintroducing an exclusive summit party at the Schattberg peak. Scheduled for December 3–5, the festival will feature live acts and DJs, including the Swiss band Hecht and DJs Evil Jared and Krogi, at an altitude of over 2,000 meters. The event will utilize six different locations, ranging from the main stage to mountain huts and clubs.

In Saas-Fee, the 2026/27 winter season is set to begin on October 31. Following recent snowfall, slopes up to Morenia will be open for the opening weekend. New features for the season include a digital gastronomy concept at the Längfluh mountain restaurant, allowing guests to order and pay via smartphone, and dynamic ticket pricing in Saas-Grund. While Saas-Fee opens in late October, other areas in the Saastal, such as Saas-Grund and Saas-Almagell, will begin their seasons on December 19, followed by Saas-Balen on December 22.
