Winter sports activities launch in Berlin and Munich

Winter seasonal activities are commencing in Berlin and Munich. In Berlin, the Winterquartier at the Napoleon Komplex in Friedrichshain is scheduled to open on November 6, 2026. The venue features a 1,000 square meter covered real ice rink, an ice disco, and a winter market. Admission to the market area is based on donations, while ice skating sessions start at 6 euros with skate rentals available for 5 euros.

In Munich, ice stock sport (Eisstockschießen) is expanding due to high demand. In addition to the Prinzregentenstadion, the activity will now also be available at the Dante-Winter-Warmfreibad starting November 9. Both locations offer synthetic lanes for booking, with various hourly rates depending on the time of day and specific location.
