Winter sports programs for children announced in Japan

Various winter sports programs for children in Japan have been announced for the upcoming season.

Sky Court Co., Ltd. will host its 10th “Sky Court Skating Clinic” on November 3, 2026, at the KOSÉ Shin Yokohama Skating Center. The event is designed for approximately 80 elementary school students, offering level-specific instruction ranging from beginners to aspiring competitive skaters. The clinic will feature professional figure skaters, including ambassadors Daisuke Takahashi and Kanako Muramoto, as instructors.

Additionally, Abarenbo Camp is opening registrations for its overnight “Ski & Snowboard Clinic 2026-2027” for students from elementary to junior high school. Held at Myoko Suginohara Ski Resort in Niigata Prefecture, the program emphasizes both technical skill development with professional instructors and outdoor life skills managed by specialized camp staff. The program includes structured evening reflections and small group sizes to ensure safety and personalized attention.
