Winter tourism circuit in Argentina's Jujuy province highlights thermal baths and Quebrada de Humahuaca

Tourism specialists and local guides outlined a winter itinerary for Jujuy province in July, promoting a short‑week circuit that combines relaxation, nature and cultural heritage. The plan starts with the Termas de Reyes, a mountain thermal spa located about 20 km from San Salvador de Jujuy, where visitors can enjoy mineral waters, forest trails and panoramic mountain views in cold mornings and sunny afternoons.

The route then continues along National Route 9 into the UNESCO‑listed Quebrada de Humahuaca. Highlights include the colourful town of Purmamarca and its Cerro de los Siete Colores, the trekking‑friendly Paseo de los Colorados, the archaeological site of the Pucará and folk music venues in Tilcara, and the historic centre of Humahuaca with its colonial architecture and the Monument to the Heroes of Independence. The itinerary is marketed as a safe, organized and culturally enriching winter getaway for domestic and international tourists.
