Winter weather affects regions in Chile and Peru

Various regions in Chile and Peru are experiencing winter weather patterns, including rain and overcast skies.

In Peru, Senamhi has forecasted scattered drizzle in Metropolitan Lima from August 14 to August 18, particularly in southern districts. This follows recent rainfall in central and southern Lima.

In Chile, weather conditions vary by location. Curicó and Pucón are expecting high probabilities of rain and cold temperatures, with Pucón seeing lows of 2°C. Santiago is expected to remain dry but cloudy with temperatures between 9°C and 18°C. Viña del Mar is also anticipating a dry, partially cloudy day with temperatures reaching a maximum of 17°C.
