Wired Productions and Tomas Sala launch ShipShaper on Steam Early Access

Independent publisher Wired Productions and BAFTA‑nominated solo developer Tomas Sala announced that their creative ship‑building sandbox ShipShaper will enter Steam Early Access on 3 September 2026. The launch follows a seven‑year partnership that began with The Falconeer and continued with Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles. ShipShaper lets players design any type of vessel—fishing boats, tall ships, ironclads, submarines or wholly imaginative creations—using intuitive shaping tools without combat or resource‑management constraints. Early Access adds the ability to launch ships into water, new historical weapons, propulsion options, sail types, lighting, decorative props and enhanced shaping features. Completed models can be displayed in bottles or dioramas, exported into Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles, or prepared for 3D printing with external software. A free commercial licence permits creators to use ship designs in personal or commercial projects. Community feedback has driven many of the new features, and the developers say Early Access will continue to shape future updates.
