Wireless connectivity issues: Bluetooth interference and DNS settings

Technical factors such as signal interference and outdated digital settings can significantly impact wireless connectivity. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi both operate on the 2.4 GHz frequency band, which can lead to signal overlap and instability. While modern hardware and protocols like Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 6 are designed to minimize this interference, users performing high-bandwidth tasks while using Bluetooth peripherals may still experience performance drops.

Additionally, a strong Wi-Fi signal does not always guarantee internet access. Connectivity issues often stem from outdated network information stored on mobile devices, such as IP addresses, DNS settings, or cached data. Problems with DNS servers can prevent devices from translating website names into IP addresses, making the connection appear active despite an inability to load content. Manually configuring DNS to services like Google DNS (8.8.8.8) or Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) can resolve these issues. Other potential culprits include Private DNS settings and VPN applications that may interfere with network traffic.
