Wirral Council greenlights Heswall Golf Club alcohol licence change and dog breeding kennel

Wirral Council's Licensing Sub‑Committee approved changes to the premises licence of Heswall Golf Club in Merseyside. The new licence permits serving alcohol from 10 a.m. (instead of 11 a.m.) and extends the licensed area from the clubhouse to the entire site, allowing drinks to be sold at the half‑way house and from the club's buggy on the course.

The council also received a planning application for a commercial dog‑breeding kennel and training facility at 2 Hargrave House Cottages, Benty Heath Lane, adjacent to the M53. The proposal, intended for supplying dogs to professional and law‑enforcement users, includes a timber‑clad, climate‑controlled building with acoustic insulation and emphasizes dog welfare and low‑noise operation.
