Wirtgen Group unveils new road construction technologies

The Wirtgen Group and John Deere are showcasing new technological solutions for the road construction and earthworks sectors. At the Technology Days Latin America 2026 event held in Indaiatuba, Brazil, the companies presented innovations aimed at increasing productivity, quality, and sustainability in road infrastructure.

Key product highlights include the SP 33 compact slipform paver, designed for creating monolithic concrete profiles such as kerbs and safety barriers with high maneuverability. Vögele is introducing the MT 3000-5 Dash 5 generation mobile feeder, which features a material conveying rate of up to 1200 tonnes per hour, and the SUPER 1800-5 X paver.

Additionally, the group is promoting Ciber technologies, including the CIBER Service Care system. This tool allows asphalt plant operators to connect with specialists for remote monitoring and support via a QR code located within the machine cabin. Wirtgen Group President Adriano Correia noted that customizing these technologies to the specific needs of the Latin American market is a primary goal of these regional initiatives.
