Ekstraklasa football features controversial decisions and various match results

The recent rounds of the Polish Ekstraklasa have been marked by competitive matches and significant officiating controversies.

In the match between Legia Warszawa and Korona Kielce, which ended in a 1:1 draw, intense debate arose after referee Jarosław Przybył declined to award a penalty to Korona. Despite Korona manager Jacek Zieliński calling it an "obvious penalty," the referee and VAR maintained that the ball struck a defender's hand in a natural position. The match was also disrupted by pyrotechnics and fan incidents, including the burning of a rival club's flag.

In another fixture, Śląsk Wrocław and Cracovia played to a 0:0 draw. The match was noted for its tactical battle but ended with setbacks for Śląsk, including a red card for Lamine Ba and an injury to Michał Mokrzycki.

Wisła Kraków secured a 2:1 victory over Wisła Płock at the Synerise Arena. The match drew scrutiny from the Polish Football Association (PZPN) after a controversy regarding a missed red card opportunity for Wisła Płock defender Marcus Haglind-Sangre, which the refereeing body later identified as an error.
