Wisła Kraków signs defender Maisonneuve, extends keeper Letkiewicz as Polish clubs revamp rosters

Wisła Kraków announced the signing of French centre‑back Maxence Maisonneuve from RAAL La Louvière. The contract runs until 30 June 2028 with an option to extend for another season. Maisonneuve, 27, played 31 league matches in Belgium last season.

The club also confirmed a new deal for goalkeeper Patryk Letkiewicz, extending his contract to 30 June 2028 with a further optional year. Letkiewicz appeared in 25 matches last season, keeping ten clean sheets.

Wisła Płock began its 2026/27 preseason on 19 June, introducing a refreshed coaching staff. Assistant coaches Karol Szweda, Maciej Serafiński, Marcin Zubek and fitness coach Dariusz Fabianowicz joined head coach Adam Majewski, while goalkeeper coach Mariusz Liberda remained.

Wieczysta Kraków announced the departure of veteran players Michał Pazdan, Rafał Pietrzak and Maciej Gajos after its historic promotion to the Ekstraklasa, signalling a squad overhaul. Media reports suggest the club is close to signing Polish midfielder Ben Lederman from Maccabi Tel Aviv on a two‑year contract, pending a medical exam.
