Wisła Kraków prepares for Kraków derby and signs Victor Meseguer

Wisła Kraków is preparing for the Kraków derby against Wieczysta Kraków amidst significant changes at their opponent. Wieczysta recently dismissed coach Kazimierz Moskal, appointing Željko Kopić as their fifth coach within a single year. Wisła coach Mariusz Jop noted that the sudden managerial change makes preparation difficult, as Kopić has had limited time to implement a new tactical system.

In addition to derby preparations, Wisła Kraków has bolstered its squad for the 2026/27 season by signing Spanish midfielder Victor Meseguer. Meseguer, who previously played for Real Valladolid and has faced clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona, has signed a two-year contract. Jop described Meseguer as a technically advanced player capable of playing multiple midfield roles and contributing to both offensive and defensive play.
