Wisła Kraków pursues Victor Meseguer transfer and pledges funds following tragedy
Wisła Kraków is advancing negotiations to sign Victor Meseguer, a 27-year-old midfielder currently playing for Real Valladolid. The Spanish player is expected to undergo medical tests in Poland following a potential permanent transfer. Meseguer brings significant experience from the Spanish leagues, having played 179 matches in the second tier and 14 in LaLiga for clubs including Real Murcia, Mirandes, Granada, Racing Santander, and Real Valladolid. The proposed deal is for a two-year contract with an option for an additional season.
Separately, Wisła Kraków President Jarosław Królewski has pledged 100,000 PLN to the family of a Hutnik Kraków supporter who recently passed away. This follows an initiative by Lukas Podolski, who offered the proceeds from the guest sector of an upcoming match to the family. Królewski called on Polish football officials to take a more active role in addressing violence and substance abuse within the fan community.
