Wisconsin Badgers football enters AP Top 25 ahead of Iowa rivalry

The Wisconsin Badgers have returned to the AP Top 25 for the first time since 2023 following a 24-7 victory over No. 16 Southern California. Currently holding a 5-2 record and 3-1 in Big Ten play, the team prepares for a significant road challenge against Iowa.

The upcoming matchup for the Heartland Trophy carries historical weight, as Iowa has dominated the rivalry recently, winning the last four meetings with a combined score of 118-26. Wisconsin coach Luke Fickell noted the difficulty of playing in Iowa, emphasizing the need to change the team's performance in this specific rivalry game.
