Wisconsin Badgers football sees recruiting and camp developments

The Wisconsin Badgers football program is seeing activity in both recruiting and preseason camp. Standout 2028 recruit Logan Thompson, a cornerback from Althoff Catholic in Illinois, is scheduled to revisit the campus during the upcoming Michigan State game. Thompson, who is ranked as a top recruit in his class, has also drawn interest from SEC programs including LSU, Tennessee, and Missouri.

In fall camp, transfer wide receiver Shamar Rigby from Oklahoma State is making an immediate impact. After starting camp with minor injuries, Rigby has participated in live periods and demonstrated his speed and ability to make difficult catches, such as a back-shoulder reception. His performance comes as the coaching staff looks to improve the team's receiving production following the previous season.
