Wisconsin Dairy Association Endorses Ellen Schutt and Kevin Krentz for Legislature
The Dairy Business Association (DBA), Wisconsin’s leading dairy advocacy group, announced its endorsement of two candidates in the upcoming state legislative primaries. The group backs Ellen Schutt for the 11th Senate District and dairy farmer Kevin Krentz for the 57th Assembly District. DBA Executive Director Chad Zuleger highlighted Schutt’s experience as a former state Assembly member and current executive director of the Wisconsin FFA Foundation, noting her work on farm‑friendly legislation and youth agricultural programs. Krentz, a longtime DBA board member and former president of the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation, was praised for his direct dairy‑farming background and leadership on rural infrastructure and conservation issues.
Both candidates align with DBA’s priorities of supporting a strong farm economy, reducing regulations, and investing in rural infrastructure. The endorsements are intended to influence primary voters as they select representatives who understand Wisconsin’s agricultural sector.
