Wisconsin football lands five-star recruit Jalanie George

Wisconsin football has secured a commitment from Jalanie George, a five-star edge rusher from Desert Edge High School in Goodyear, Arizona, for the 2028 recruiting class.

George, ranked as one of the top 30 prospects in the nation, chose the Badgers over other major programs including Auburn, Miami, and Washington. He currently holds more than 35 scholarship offers from various high-profile universities.

During his sophomore season, George recorded 54 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks. His commitment marks a significant recruiting win for head coach Luke Fickell as the program continues to compete for elite national talent.
