Wisconsin hosts upcoming food and music festivals

Wisconsin is hosting two distinct food and music festivals this September.

The True North Food + Music Festival returns to Warner Park in Madison on September 26. The event features a variety of artists, vendors, and unique attractions, including a vintage market hosted by Matchless Markets, interactive human statue performances, and experiential art utilizing code and sensors from Rota Motu Lab.

In Milwaukee, the inaugural Freshwater Food & Wine Festival will take place at Henry Maier Festival Park on September 19-20. Founded by Wesley Shaver, the festival aims to provide an accessible and inclusive culinary experience on the lakefront. The event will feature local restaurants, global wines, and celebrity chef demonstrations, offering an à la carte tasting structure.
