Wisconsin State Fair attracts 925,749 visitors for 175th anniversary

The 2026 Wisconsin State Fair drew 925,749 visitors during its 11-day run, marking the event's 175th anniversary.

During the opening day Piggly Wiggly $5 Day, attendees donated 59,000 pounds of food and $13,484 in cash to the Hunger Task Force. The fair featured nearly 10,000 competitive exhibits and approximately 8,000 animal entries.

Major attractions included the Midwest debut of the America 250 Wheel, which recorded 82,284 riders, and the Giant Slide, which saw 93,120 riders. Food highlights included the production of over 350,000 cream puffs by the Wisconsin Bakers Association.
